Today has been wonderful. No withdrawal symptoms at all! I am still taking the vitamin I have listed and just going about my day. My schedule is partially screwed up, but that is not from sleeping but work schedule. I am at the point where I am more confident that this phase of the drop, the withdrawal part is over.
I am not going to do another drop until I put some time between the last set of withdrawals and some stable time.
Before I started this second attempt to go off Lexapro I have been researching ways to change my life for the better and a lot of the changes had to do with diet and exercise. I started to slowly change food choices until it because the "norm" for me. I cook all my meals from scratch and I use healthy alternatives. One thing I changed was what I had to have in the morning to eat, I started to drink "Green Smoothies". A green smoothie is a fruit smoothie mixed with leafy green vegetables. At first I added more fruit then greens and now I add alot more greens.
I have a Blendtec blender and it will blend anything! I choose one of my favorite greens which would be one of collard greens, kale, swiss chard or spinach. I then blend a few hand fulls with water (on the blendtec I use the whole juice button). I then add an orange, banana, strawberries or another type of berry that I have on hand, a few pieces of pineapple and some ice, I press the whole juice button and when it is done I have a perfectly smooth Green Smoothie with the benefit of dark leafy greens.
I tried to have this everyday but during that rough patch of withdrawal, I just could not get past the nausea that lasted all day and night. Now I am back on the smoothies which is a good thing. Also I am researching Wheatgrass juice. Not sure if the dark leafy greens I am consuming is just as good or if I should add Wheatgrass Juice. Every site I come across is selling a book, media, the grains .. It is hard to know which one is biased or not biased.
So today was no bad symptoms and it seems as if it will continue until the next drop. I guess I will have to pick a date sometime for the next drop. The next drop I will be using the scale and the spread sheet from Paxilprogress.org and dropping 10mg to 9mg but when I am ready I have to do the math on what a whole pill's real weight is and subtracting the their components of the pill to do as close as a 10 percent drop as possible. Since my real hard withdrawal was 4 weeks out of the box, I will be waiting that long to see if a 10 percent drop is better as far as withdrawal symptoms.
